Getting Started
Four steps: API key → Agents → Skills → Register for Community & chat
1. API key (required)
We do not ship model APIs. Without a key, missions cannot run. The app is free; you pay your provider (OpenRouter, DeepSeek, etc.).
- App → Settings → Keys → Add
- Chat keys: missions and conversation
- Vision keys (optional): screenshots and images
- Local Ollama can be detected in Settings
2. Configure agents
Settings → Agents: name, system prompt, default model. Assign different agents per mission (code, docs, data, etc.).
- Be explicit about scope and output format in the system prompt
- Bind a default chat model from Keys
- Pick an agent in Chats, then describe your goal
3. Import skills
Skills are reusable Markdown playbooks. Open Skills & Tools from the top bar → Import a github.com repo/folder that contains SKILL.md. For skill packs, use Browse or the presets.
- Top bar → Skills & Tools → Import (GitHub only — not normal websites)
- Official packs (e.g. Anthropic): use presets / Browse, then install
- Skills inject context when relevant tasks match
4. Community & Contacts (register)
An OT account is separate from your API key. Register to post in Community and chat via Contacts in the desktop app.
- Community: web browser is enough
- Contacts: sign in with the same OT account inside the app
- Registering from the app deep-links back with your token
